Ready for a unique boating experience?

ACME Aqualiner

Our complete boat rentals feature the stunning ACME Aqualiner. This 1952 mahogany classic, retrofitted with a 75HP ACEL Power electric outboard and a 46kWh battery, blends vintage charm with modern efficiency—think silent cruising, zero emissions, and a top speed of 30 knots. Wondering if it’s easy to operate? Absolutely, with its digital throttle and onboard computer, you’ll feel in command in no time. Can it handle your crew? Both boats comfortably fit small groups, ideal for family or friends, up to 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 kids.

The classic Aqualiner is available at the Kelowna Yacht Club for rentals. Morning and afternoon half day or full day rentals are available with or without a captain service in case you have a boating licence.

The Orange Boat

Another option is “The Orange Boat“, famous from the “Oh, Canada” episode of The Grand Tour TV series. One episode was filmed in British Columbia, at Apex Mountain and Lake. In the funny episode Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May did typical Canadian activities. James May was racing Jeremy and Richard in The Orange Boat, right until the moment water started to ingress into the boat. Well, James went down with the ship in a majestic fashion, despite the fact that water temperatures were around 2 Celsius at the time. We have restored and electro-fitted this iconic boat and you can take it for a spin, a photoshoot or just boating fun! Sadly no sinking is allowed!

The Orange Boat is available at Kalamalka Lake or Wood Lake for half a day or full day rentals, with or without captain service.
